Junior Achievement
Please consider volunteering to sign up to teach Junior Achievement. Junior Achievement is a program that exposes children to aspects of business, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. You will receive a package of easy to follow teaching materials and have the unique opportunity to teach the class for the day (the teacher is still present in the classroom). Workers on Wednesday "WOW"
Our Shafer library checks out hundreds of books each week! Reading is an important indicator of learning success, and we are so happy our students are taking advantage of this privilege to access and read books. To support our students, the library needs help re-shelving these treasures so they can be enjoyed over and over by other students. Would you come lend a hand to help get our books back on the shelves? Volunteering in the library is also a great opportunity to model to your child the importance of reading and of serving in your school and community. If you wish, you can even sign up to come during your child’s scheduled library time so you can see them! Parents and grandparents are welcome to sign up (please note that younger siblings are not permitted to accompany volunteers).

Volunteers can arrive anytime during the 9am-2pm timeframe and must raptor in at the front desk. Below is the WOW Schedule for the remainder of the 2022-2023 School Year.
